Hi there!

My name is Erin and I write words for the Internet (and sometimes those paper things!)

I’m a freelance journalist, writer, social media aficionado, designer and editor based in Philadelphia. I have worked on newspapers, magazines, blogs, online platforms, solutions journalism collaborations and newsletters. Find my most recent work in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia magazine, The Japan TimesPhiladelphia Family magazine and at BROKE in Philly.

I graduated from Temple University in 2018 and served as an editor for The Temple News, the university's award-winning, student-run newspaper, from 2016-2017.

My debut poetry collection, FIVE YEARS OF SEA-SICKNESS, is coming in early 2020 from Wide Eyes Publishing.

When I'm not writing, you can find me curating my zine, SUBURBAN SPRINGTIME, running the small press at Shakespeare & Co. or building astrological Twitter bots. Talk to me about Terrace House at erin@sjmorans.com or on Twitter.

Only you could turn a guac stain into a fashion statement.
